The ideal candidate is someone who is thorough and direct with strong critical thinking skills and has the ability to prioritize effectively.
Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule calendar appointments Assist with client document collection and upload Responsible for scanning all tax return data following firm scanning procedures in a timely fashion Provide administrative support to the tax department Deliver tax returns, extensions, and estimates in both electronic and paper format Coordination of receipt of signed e-file authorizations Preparing and proofreading correspondence to include response letters to the IRS and various tax authorities Assist in front desk/receptionist rotation Provide general support and warm customer service to clients and visitors Sort and distribute mail, documents and office supplies Assist with ad hoc projects, as assigned Able to maintain confidentiality Qualifications 1-3 years of relative experience, preferably in a professional services environment (accounting is a plus) Good Word, Excel, and Outlook skills Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Comfortable using different types of technology Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
