Summer Camp Counselors: Put Some STEAM in Your Summer

Each day @ BOTH our Traveling & On-Campus programs, you'll provide campers with exciting, hands-on programs in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) subjects including:
Creating and Coding Video Games (including AI) and Animations with Scratch and Scratch Jr Developing and Designing Real Smartphone Apps & Websites Building and Programming Mobile LEGO Robots Inventing and Launching Electronic Creations with Little Bits Filming and Editing Special Effects & Stop Animation Movies In between our range of STEAM activities, we also provide a fun twist on your typical day camp experience with unique outdoor & indoor activities that give our camp the feel of working at a tech start-up.
We provide extensive training in our curriculum and methodologies-- so NO WORRIES if you are a little light in either technical or camp counseling experience! You'll need to provide a sense of adventure & patient good humor, love of technology, energy and enthusiasm! As a Camp Counselor your responsibilities will include:
Providing a welcoming environment for campers and parents Actively engaging campers every day both inside and outside the lab Managing your campers and junior staff with patience & good humor Preparing and Maintaining lab spaces throughout the day Qualities we look for:
Previous Camp Counselor/Small- Group Teaching/Coaching Experience helpful, but not necessary.
Curiosity about the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
A patient, fun and outgoing personality.
A passion for hands-on building and/or programming with LEGOS and other robot kits, drones, apps and more.
A resourceful, creative thinking mindset.
An openness to new things/experiences Comfortable with public speaking, in- person and/or online You must be available Monday -- Friday from at least 7:

for full-time positions (8:
30 am-1 pm OR 2 pm-6 pm for part-time positions ), June 20 through August 20, have a reliable transportation to our New Jersey locations in Ridgewood & Montvale and other, rotating locations (need reliable access to a car, mass transit won't do it).
