This is a great part-time position for an UNDERGRADUATE, GRAD STUDENT or RECENT GRAD, who is looking to expand their skills and knowledge, especially those interested pursuing a career in Teaching or STEM/STEAM.
What we're looking for are folks who have a passion for hands-on learning and a curiosity about technology to help guide our elementary & middle-school students (K-8) in our small group, LEGO Robotics, video game-making, website building, mobile-app creation and/or electronics-invention enrichment labs and school-day workshops.
Liberal Arts or Social Science majors should not be scared off.
If you have a curious mind and the confident, patient good humor to guide our students through figuring it out are available at least two afternoons each week, are fully vaccinated, and have access to a car, we'll consider you as a candidate.
As an instructor you will be expected to deliver an engaging, exciting, and well-managed lab experience for small groups of elementary/middle school-age children (K-8), as well as assist our operations team in preparing and distributing materials.
Our programs take place throughout the school day, after-school and when school is closed (Mondays-Fridays, as well as on Saturdays).
Many of these programs are held in local schools throughout NJ & NY so you will be asked to travel to and from these locations.
