Human Resources/Payroll Specialist We are seeking an experienced, professional individual with a strong Human Resource background and experience with payroll processing for a full time position in healthcare.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources professional who can work independently and as part of a team.
The Human Resources Specialist's main function is to assist the Human Resources department and offer direct support to the Director of Human Resources and the HR team.
Responsibilities:
Ensure legal compliance of personnel records with applicable federal & state laws and DOH regulations Manage benefit enrollment of health & ancillary insurances and 401k Annual reporting of OSHA, EEO, ACA, and Third Party Sick Management and oversight of disability, workers comp, unemployment, and FMLA Training and support to the HR team Assist with reviewing & processing of payroll New hire on-boarding & orientation and off-boarding Assist management with issues including employee relations, performance management, dispute resolution and policy administration Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Human Resources; SHRM certification a plus Knowledge of Federal and State Labor and Employment Laws Prior experience in healthcare setting a plus Must be organized and have ability to multi-task, follow up & follow through with assignments Professional verbal and written communications skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Must be adept at working with employees in fair, consistent manner, and maintain confidentiality
